NEW GRANT Information for

the 2008 OMLEA Conference

CCOSA/OMLEA is pleased to announce that it will award a grant for $1000 to a school for the implementation of middle level philosophy. We are looking for schools with creative and innovative plans for developing teaming, integrated curriculum, promoting good student health and well being, interaction with the community, advisory and after school programs…any of the programs that make middle level education especially effective for the young adolescent.

Winners of the grants will be announced at this year’s annual conference to be held in Tulsa February 28th- March 1st , 2008 Downtown -Tulsa and will be asked to make a presentation at the following year’s conference to share their good ideas and stories of success.  The money raised from the proceeds of the Silent Auction to be held at the annual conference is designated to go to funding these grants in the future, so it is hoped we will be able to offer even more grant opportunities next year.

To apply for a $1000 OMLEA Middle Level Alive Grant, please contact
Linda Everett to request an application packet (NEW-Or Download the Application Packet in PDF format!) and mail the completed application to CCOSA/OMLEA, 2901 Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK  73105. The deadline for entries is February 1st, 2008.
